Self-supporting structure: This is a huge advantage! The strength of your Desjoyaux wall structure is virtually not affected by changes of pressure from the pool water or the backfilled ground. Desjoyaux Pool can be backfilled without filling up the pool with water. |
Most walls available on the market are "pressure" walls, meaning that the wall structure is held up only by the opposite forces of the pool water and backfilled ground. Should one of those forces be altered, the pool integrity could be seriously compromised. |

Other pool systems that do not include a solid concrete structure are not likely to be approved for this type of applications. Also, the numerous plumbing lines around and underneath the pool could mean trouble to the house in case of a leak (versus our self-contained Desjoyaux filtration). |

Any shape, any size: Desjoyaux wall is assembled on the field in section of up to 8 panels (about 6.5 feet) and can be easily produced to your specifications and requirements. While offering the advantages of a concrete construction, the Desjoyaux panels are pretty easy and fast to assemble so that you can enjoy your pool in less than 2 weeks*! * May vary on local permits, natural conditions and size of the pool.

The strongest wall structure. Period! A 6.8 magnitude earthquake (Algeria, 2003) did NOT affect the structural integrity of the Desjoyaux pool structure! Even though the ground has shifted around the pool and the deck shows some serious cracks, the Desjoyaux wall structure was not damaged and water still remains in the pool! Unbelievable! |
